This incident occurred at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, a notable venue in Athens. Following four months in the hospital, she returned home for rehabilitation.

Born Kyriaki Papadopoulou in Thessaloniki, Marinella displayed her musical talent from a young age. At just four years old, she appeared on a children’s radio show. Her professional breakthrough occurred in 1957 when she collaborated with fellow singer Stelios Kazantzidis.
