At 39 years old, Johnson is hailed as one of the greatest fighters in mixed martial arts (MMA) history. His accolades include:
- First UFC Flyweight Champion, holding the title from 2012 to 2018.
- Record for the most consecutive title defenses in UFC history, with 11 successful defenses.
- Victory over notable opponents, including Joseph Benavidez, John Dodson, Henry Cejudo, and Kyoji Horiguchi.
- Third-most wins in UFC title fights, totaling 12.
- Fifth-longest unbeaten streak in UFC, with 14 consecutive fights without a loss.

Transition to ONE Championship
