CBS Renews ‘Entertainment Tonight,’ ‘Inside Edition’ for 2026-27 Syndication

CBS Media Ventures has announced its syndication lineup for the 2026-27 season, renewing several popular shows. This slate includes long-running favorites like Entertainment Tonight and Inside Edition, which have been staple programs since the 1980s. Additionally, the veteran courtroom show Hot Bench will also return.

New Additions to the CBS Lineup

In the upcoming season, CBS Media Ventures will further enhance its offerings with the inclusion of two game shows, Flip Side and The Perfect Line. Each of these shows will continue to engage audiences.

Recent Developments in Syndication

Alongside these renewals, The Drew Barrymore Show previously received a two-season extension earlier this month. These renewals are particularly significant given recent cancellations in the syndication market.

Cancellations Impacting Daytime Programming

  • The Kelly Clarkson Show
  • Sherri
  • Karamo
  • The Steve Wilkos Show
  • Access Hollywood

Several of these shows will conclude after this season due to NBCUniversal’s decision to cease production on first-run syndicated programs.

New Court Show Launching

CBS Media Ventures will introduce a new courtroom series titled Adam’s Law. The show features Adam Levy, a former district attorney in Putnam County, New York, and is executive produced by Judge Judy Sheindlin.

Expanding Syndicated Distribution

Additionally, CBS Media Ventures is set to manage the syndication distribution of America’s Funniest Home Videos and American Mayhem. The company will maintain its distribution of iconic game shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune in the U.S. through the 2027-28 season due to a legal agreement with Sony Pictures Television.

These strategic renewals and additions by CBS Media Ventures illustrate the network’s commitment to providing vibrant content amid a fluctuating syndication landscape.
