“Jesus Christ Superstar” focuses on the complicated dynamics between Jesus and Judas Iscariot, set against a backdrop of political turmoil and emotional strain surrounding the crucifixion. The show originally premiered on Broadway in 1971 and made its West End debut one year later.

  • Sam Ryder: This will mark his official West End debut in the role of Jesus.
  • Tyrone Huntley: Cast as Judas, Huntley brings prior experience, having performed in a 2016 open-air adaptation.
  • Desmonda Cathabel: Portraying Mary.
