Residents of Eastern Newfoundland are preparing for a significant winter storm this week. Environment Canada has issued an orange winter storm watch due to the anticipated heavy snowfall.

The forecast indicates that Eastern and Southeastern Newfoundland could receive between 30 to 50 cm of snow. Central areas are expected to see around 20-30 cm. The storm is set to begin on Monday night and will likely continue into Tuesday evening.
