The LMU women’s tennis team achieved a significant milestone with their recent 4-3 victory over Gonzaga in Spokane, Washington. This hard-fought match showcased the team’s determination and skill, particularly in doubles and key singles matchups.

LMU started strong by securing the doubles point. The team achieved victories on courts one and three. At the No. 1 position, Anastasia Bozova and Ada Piestrzynska won decisively against Gonzaga’s Rose Hayes and Sveva Zerpelloni, finishing at 6-3. Subsequently, Kim-Michaela Zahraj and Helene Schnack triumphed on court three with a score of 6-4 over Elizabeth Tindera and Diana Yanotovskaya. Although Gonzaga won at No. 2 doubles, LMU took a 1-0 lead going into singles play.
