Aim of the Exercises
The primary goal was to improve measures against terrorism and extremist activities. The training focused on:
- Interagency coordination during a terrorist threat
- Information reporting procedures
- Actions of forces designated for counter-terrorism operations
Security agencies also conducted simulated operations to detain (or neutralize) hypothetical terrorists and address potential consequences of a terror attack. The exercises were critical for evaluating knowledge, skills, and effective information management.
