Rajasthan Royals (RR) have secured the services of Sri Lankan cricketer Dasun Shanaka. He will replace Sam Curran, who is sidelined due to a groin injury. This change comes ahead of the IPL 2026 season.

Sam Curran was acquired by Rajasthan Royals from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a pre-auction trade. However, his participation is now hindered by a groin issue, ruling him out of the upcoming IPL season.
