Jamia Participates in Youth Exchange Program

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has officially joined the Ashtalakshmi Youth Exchange Programme, organized by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER). This marks the first participation for JMI in this initiative, with a delegation of 20 students traveling to Northeast India from March 15 to March 28.
Program Overview
The Ashtalakshmi Youth Exchange Programme is fully funded, covering expenses such as air travel, accommodation, and logistics for participants. Currently, the JMI delegation is hosted at IIT-Guwahati, where they will engage in various activities.

The program is led by Sudhanshu Trivedi, Assistant Professor at the Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution. He serves as the nodal officer appointed by both the Ministry of DoNER and the JMI Vice-Chancellor.
