As the storm intensifies on Thursday, particularly in inland areas and the Troodos mountains, a yellow warning for strong storms will be in effect from midday until late afternoon. The weather changes are primarily due to two storms: one from northern Egypt moving north, and another approaching from the west.

- Hail and Sleet: Hail may occur, especially in lower elevations, while sleet is likely in the Troodos peaks.

- Temperature Changes: Highs in Nicosia and coastal areas will drop from 22 degrees Celsius on Wednesday to around 20 degrees on Thursday.
