- Altering their identity
- Traveling abroad
- Living with children again after serving their sentence
These measures aim to enhance the safety of children by ensuring that known offenders are kept under continual surveillance.
Legislative Status
The proposal for the Child Cruelty Register is being advanced through an amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill. Home Office officials have indicated that this amendment is expected to be presented shortly, marking a significant step towards protecting vulnerable children.
