Lamar Odom’s Arrest Details
On January 17, at approximately 2 a.m., Odom was pulled over by Nevada State Police on Interstate 15. According to the police report, he was driving at speeds of 90 mph and reached up to 105 mph when officers approached.
Traffic Violations Noted
During the traffic stop, police observed Odom engaging in unsafe driving behaviors. These included:
- Speeding over the legal limit
- Changing lanes without signaling
- Using signals incorrectly while moving between lanes
Field Sobriety Test and Subsequent Arrest
Upon stopping, law enforcement noted that both Odom and his passenger exhibited bloodshot, watery eyes. A significant odor of marijuana was also emanating from the vehicle. Odom stated he was on the phone with his manager when pulled over, but later failed a field sobriety test.
Charges and Court Proceedings
Currently, Odom faces a DUI charge along with two traffic violations:
- Exceeding the speed limit by over 41 mph
- Improper lane change
He is scheduled to appear in court again in July to continue addressing these charges.
