Draisaitl sustained his injury during a match against the Nashville Predators, which the Oilers won 3-1 on Sunday. The 30-year-old forward appeared shaken after a collision with Predators’ forward Ozzy Wiesblatt. The incident occurred early in the first period.

After the hit, Draisaitl left the ice for the locker room but returned briefly for another shift before exiting for good. Notably, he had opened the scoring for the Oilers earlier in the period.
