Cardi B Criticizes Canadian Fans for Low Ticket Sales at Hamilton Show

Cardi B, the Grammy-winning Bronx rapper, is currently in the midst of her much-anticipated Little Miss Drama Tour. The tour features nearly sold-out shows across 35 cities in North America. However, the situation took a turn when Cardi publicly criticized her Canadian fans for not fully selling out her upcoming show in Hamilton, Ontario.
Tour Highlights and Ticket Sales
Cardi B’s tour is supporting her second studio album, titled “Am I the Drama?”. The tour kicked off on February 11, featuring three stops in Canada: Vancouver, Toronto, and Hamilton. Her performances in venues like the Kia Forum in Los Angeles were historic, marking her as the first female rapper to sell out two consecutive nights there.
Despite impressive sales in most cities, Cardi expressed disappointment about Hamilton. “Every city for the Little Miss Drama Tour is practically sold out,” she stated on social media, noting that her shows typically sell out at rates of 98 to 100 percent.
Upcoming Canadian Shows
- Vancouver: February 21, sold out with 12,372 capacity at Rogers Arena.
- Toronto: March 30, expected to draw significant crowds at Scotiabank Arena, capacity of 12,117.
- Hamilton: March 31, currently lacking in ticket sales, stirring a reaction from Cardi B.
In Hamilton, the highest ticket price was around $579.97, with the cheapest at $118.45. This contrasts sharply with Toronto, where the most expensive ticket prices reached approximately $2,378.81 and the lowest started at $314.75.
Cardi’s Call to Action
As Cardi prepares for her next performances, anticipation and excitement build among her followers. Will Hamilton rise to the occasion and ensure a sold-out show? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: Cardi B is not backing down from her expectations of support.
