M73 15-Vehicle Crash Hospitalizes Five

Five individuals, including two children, have been hospitalized following a significant 15-vehicle crash on the M73 in North Lanarkshire. Emergency services responded promptly to the incident, which occurred just before midnight.

Victims and Hospital Care
In total, five individuals were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The distribution of the injured is as follows:
- Two patients were admitted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
- Two were taken to the Royal Hospital for Children.
- One patient was sent to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Additionally, three other individuals received treatment at the scene of the crash.
