New Jersey Devils Acquire MacEwen from Ottawa in Strategic Trade

The New Jersey Devils have made a strategic move by acquiring forward Zack MacEwen from the Ottawa Senators. This transaction involved sending forward Kurtis MacDermid to Ottawa. The announcement was made by Tom Fitzgerald, the President and General Manager of the Devils.

MacEwen, aged 29, had a season split between the NHL and the AHL. Last season, he played 21 games in the NHL, where he scored two goals and contributed one assist. Along with his offensive contributions, he accumulated 21 penalty minutes.

In the AHL, MacEwen played 23 games, finding the back of the net seven times and assisting on nine goals, while serving 29 penalty minutes. His physical play and scoring ability have made him a valuable asset.
