Hugh Jackman, Cecily Strong, Corey Stoll Join Audible’s Off-Broadway Productions

Audible Theater, in collaboration with Together, has announced exciting additions to their 2026 season at the Off-Broadway Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City. The productions will feature notable performances from Hugh Jackman, Cecily Strong, Corey Stoll, and Sepideh Moafi.
New Productions Lineup
- What Happened Was: A play written by Tom Noonan, starring Corey Stoll and Cecily Strong.
- New Born: A series of monologues featuring Hugh Jackman, Sepideh Moafi, and Marianna Gailus.
Performance Dates
- What Happened Was: April 14 to June 14, 2026
- New Born: May 8 to June 8, 2026
Both productions will be directed by Ian Rickson and performed in repertory. Additionally, they will be recorded and made available on Audible following their theatrical run.
Return Engagement of Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes
Alongside these new productions, Hugh Jackman will return to the stage in Hannah Moscovitch’s Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes, alongside Ella Beatty. This performance is set to begin on March 17, 2026, and is currently available for streaming on Audible.
Tribute to Tom Noonan
This season pays homage to Tom Noonan, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 74. The co-founder of Together, Sonia Friedman, expressed her respect for Noonan’s legacy. She praised his ability to articulate the nuances of human connection through his poignant writing.
