Michelin Guide Portugal: Ten New Restaurants Earn Stars, No Top Honors

Portugal now boasts 53 Michelin-starred restaurants, maintaining its status without a single three-star establishment. The latest additions were revealed during a prestigious gala held at the Savoy Hotel in Funchal, Madeira. Despite the absence of a third star, the culinary scene celebrated the recognition of ten new one-star restaurants.
Highlights from the Michelin Guide for Portugal
This year, the Michelin Guide’s event marked the third edition dedicated solely to Portuguese restaurants. Noteworthy chefs and food enthusiasts gathered as the announcement unfolded.
