Winter Storm Halts All Area School Bus Services

In response to the severe weather forecast, the Sudbury Student Services Consortium has announced the cancellation of all school bus services today. This decision affects a variety of language school boards, including English Catholic, English public, French Catholic, and French public schools.

Weather Conditions Prompt Bus Service Cancellation

Heavy snow, freezing rain, and poor visibility have created hazardous conditions. The districts impacted include Sudbury, Espanola, Massey, and Manitoulin. Although schools will remain open, students will not be able to utilize school-provided transportation.

Parents who choose to drive their children to school are reminded to arrange for their pickup at the end of the school day. All staff members are still expected to report to work despite the bus service interruption.
