The City of Lloydminster has launched a new resource aimed at enhancing the lives of its senior residents. The Seniors Supports Guide is specifically designed for individuals aged 65 and older, facilitating their access to various local services and programs.

Introduced during the Seniors Lunch & Learn event, this guide is part of a broader initiative by the Social Programs and Services department. It is the latest addition to the City’s series of community directories, which includes the previously established Lloyd Supports Directory.
Features of the Seniors Supports Guide
The Seniors Supports Guide addresses the distinct needs of older adults, reflecting priorities identified in the Lloyd Needs Assessment. It encompasses local support across nine key categories:
- Financial Support
- Seniors Housing
- Transportation
- Access to Health and Services
- Mental Health
- Safety and Security
- Recreation
- General Services
- Places of Worship
