ITV Confirms Schedule Shakeup, Pulls Loose Women and Lorraine This Week

This week, ITV will implement a significant shakeup in its daytime television schedule. Popular shows, including “Loose Women” and “Lorraine,” will temporarily pause new episodes. This change is part of ITV’s regular adjustments to accommodate special events.

Temporary Break for “Loose Women” and “Lorraine”

On March 6, during an episode of “Loose Women,” presenter Jayne Moore informed viewers about the upcoming break. She became emotional discussing her hay fever, noting this would be the last episode for a few weeks. Fellow presenter Kay Adams confirmed the hiatus, stating, “We will be back next month. Until then, take care and have a fabulous weekend.”

Typically airing weekdays at 12:30 PM, “Loose Women” will not be broadcast during this week, as coverage of the Cheltenham Festival will take its place.

“Lorraine” Also on Pause

  • New Production: “Good Morning Britain” will now be produced by ITV News at ITN.
  • Episode Duration Changes: “Lorraine” will see a reduction from one hour to 30 minutes.
  • Seasonal Airing: “Loose Women” will air for 30 weeks of the year.
