Authorities are investigating the collapse of a luffing jib tower crane at a construction site in Kensington. The incident took place on March 4 at a housing project backed by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The crane, hired from Falcon Cranes, was operating at the Barlby Road site when its jib became detached from its fixing. Fortunately, nobody sustained injuries during the collapse. In response, the site was promptly evacuated to ensure the safety of workers.
