The remaining six parks in this deal are located in the United States.

Details of the Acquisition

Upon completion of the sale, EPR Properties will lease La Ronde to a newly formed entity, La Ronde Opérations. This company will be responsible for the park’s operations. Kieran Burke, the head of La Ronde Opérations, also oversees Village Vacances Valcartier in Quebec and Calypso Water Park in Limoges, Ontario.

Commitment to Visitors

  • La Ronde Opérations has announced that no immediate changes in operations are expected.
  • Visitors can look forward to La Ronde maintaining its familiar charm.
  • Season pass holders from previous years will have their passes honored through the 2026 season.

A Brief History of La Ronde

La Ronde was originally opened in 1967 on Île Sainte-Hélène as part of the World Expo. The City of Montreal sold the park to Six Flags in 2001, marking a significant transition in its ownership. With this new acquisition, EPR Properties aims to continue the legacy of La Ronde as a beloved destination for amusement park enthusiasts.
