MDA Space Achieves Record $499.1M in Q4 Revenue, Up 44%

MDA Space Ltd. has reported significant financial growth for the fourth quarter of 2025. The company achieved a record revenue of $499.1 million, marking a 44% increase compared to the same period last year. This impressive rise is largely attributed to the robust performance of its satellite business.

Fourth Quarter Financial Overview

During the quarter that ended on December 31, MDA Space posted a profit of $24 million. This translates to 18 cents per diluted share, a slight decline from the $25.1 million profit, or 20 cents per diluted share, recorded in the same quarter of the previous year.

Adjusted Earnings

On an adjusted basis, MDA Space reported earnings of 45 cents per diluted share. This figure reflects a notable increase from the adjusted profit of 28 cents per diluted share for the same period last year.

Revenue Breakdown

  • Geointelligence Revenue: $62.0 million, up from $47.4 million
  • Robotics and Space Operations Revenue: $65.7 million, a slight increase from $64.7 million
  • Satellite Systems Revenue: $371.4 million, up from $234.5 million

The overall growth illustrates MDA Space’s strong position within the market, particularly in satellite systems, which showed remarkable performance.

Backlog Status

As of December 31, the company’s backlog stood at $4.01 billion, a decrease from $4.39 billion reported a year earlier. This shift indicates the dynamic nature of project acquisition and operational capabilities within the company.
