Suzuki Rider Expands 2026 Isle of Man TT Plans with Two New Brands

Yorkshire rider Joey Thompson has expanded his participation in the 2026 Isle of Man TT by confirming contracts with two additional brands, Aprilia and Honda. Previously committed to the York Suzuki team, Thompson will now ride both a Honda and an Aprilia, significantly broadening his lineup for the upcoming season.
Thompson’s New Plans for the Isle of Man TT
In a recent announcement, Thompson revealed he will compete with TH Racing in the Supersport class and the newly renamed Sportbike class. The Sportbike category was formerly known as Supertwin.

Thompson’s Enthusiastic Outlook
Thompson expressed his enthusiasm about finalizing his commitments early in the season. “I am so pleased to have put pen to paper this early on,” he stated. This early commitment allows him the opportunity to focus on his preparations for what promises to be a hectic season.
He also thanked TH Racing for their warm welcome. “I cannot wait to get stuck in, especially now I feel I have my mojo back,” he added.
