NHL Launches Third Annual Pride Cup Event

The third annual Pride Cup event, organized by the NHL in collaboration with Pride Tape, has officially begun. This year’s celebration takes place in Surrey, British Columbia, featuring games involving Vancouver’s The Cutting Edges and the Seattle Pride Hockey Association.

Kim Davis, the NHL’s Senior Executive Vice President, highlighted the league’s dedication to diversity in hockey. “We believe the game is strongest when everyone feels they have a place in it,” Davis stated. The Pride Cup symbolizes this commitment, celebrating LGBTQ+ athletes, fans, families, and allies.
