Calgary will welcome four major productions from Broadway Across Canada in its 2026–2027 season. The esteemed Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is set to host these exceptional tours.
2026–2027 Broadway Season Lineup
The upcoming season includes:
- & Juliet: September 15–20, 2026
- Disney’s Beauty and the Beast: November 10–15, 2026
- Mrs. Doubtfire: January 5–10, 2027
- Hamilton: June 15–27, 2027
& Juliet
& Juliet kicks off the season, presenting a modern retelling of the classic character Juliet. This musical features a catchy pop-song catalog while emphasizing themes of agency and reinvention.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
Following & Juliet, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will make its appearance. This production includes contributions from the original Tony-winning creative team. New scenic and costume designs promise to enhance the viewer’s experience.
Mrs. Doubtfire
Mrs. Doubtfire will arrive as an adaptation of the beloved 1993 film. The musical centers on family dynamics, co-parenting, and the pursuit of second chances.
Hamilton
Concluding the season is Hamilton, a groundbreaking musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda. This show blends hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and traditional musical elements, continuing its international success.
