Big Names Join Wells Comedy Festival for 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Wells Comedy Festival is gearing up for its 10th anniversary, scheduled for May 22–24, 2026. The event will feature a diverse line-up of well-known comedians, promising an exciting weekend for comedy enthusiasts.

Notable Performers at the Festival

This year’s festival will include renowned acts such as:

  • Sara Pascoe
  • Ed Gamble
  • Flo & Joan
  • Paul Foot
  • Mark Thomas
  • James Acaster
  • Sam Nicoresti
  • Nish Kumar
  • Tim Key
  • Toussaint Douglass

Toussaint Douglass will present his acclaimed show, “Accessible Pigeon Material,” following a Best Newcomer nomination at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. The full schedule includes over 30 performances at various venues throughout the city.

Festival Highlights

The Wells Comedy Festival will feature an array of events, including:

  • Friday and Saturday Night Galas showcasing both festival favorites and debut performances.
  • A special 10th Anniversary Gala on Sunday, May 24, aimed at raising funds for local charities, including Vision Action and Wells Foodstore.

All gala events at Cedars Hall will be BSL interpreted to ensure accessibility for all attendees.

Tickets for most shows are currently available. Notably, tickets for Sara Pascoe and Ed Gamble will be released at 11 AM on February 13. Organizers have partnered with Twickets to facilitate face-value ticket resales, along with waiting lists for each event.
