Ning Zhongyan has achieved a remarkable feat at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, clinching the gold medal in the men’s 1500m speed skating event. He set a stunning Olympic record with a time of 1:41.98.

The skater from the People’s Republic of China stood out against tough competition, notably defeating pre-race favorite Jordan Stolz from the United States. Stolz secured the silver medal with a time of 1:42.75.
