Canada’s women speedskating team has once again proven their dominance by securing their third gold medal in the women’s team pursuit at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics. The team, consisting of Valérie Maltais, Ivanie Blondin, and Isabelle Weidemann, showcased exceptional skill and teamwork in the final against the Netherlands.

The final match took place at the Milano Speed Skating Stadium, where the Canadian team faced a tough challenge from their Dutch competitors. Initially trailing, the Canadians made a remarkable comeback, taking the lead on the eighth lap of the 12-lap event.
