Taylor Power Outage Disrupts Service for 1,050 Customers

On February 16th, a significant power outage in Taylor, British Columbia, affected over 1,000 residents. BC Hydro confirmed that the blackout, impacting 1,050 customers, stemmed from a motor vehicle accident. The incident was reported around 10:30 a.m.

Areas Impacted by the Power Outage

The outage disrupted service in two key areas:

  • South of Baldonnel Road: 924 customers.
  • North of Big Bam Road: 126 customers.

Restoration Efforts

BC Hydro crews were promptly dispatched to the scene. They estimated power restoration would be completed by 2 p.m. on the same day.
