East Baton Rouge City-Parish offices will temporarily close to observe the Mardi Gras holiday. Mayor-President Sid Edwards announced this decision on Friday.
Mardi Gras Office Closure Details
All City-Parish offices in Baton Rouge will close at 2 p.m. on Monday. They will remain shut through Tuesday, resuming normal operations on Wednesday.
Collection Services During the Holiday
Despite the office closures, garbage and recycling collections will continue as scheduled. The North Landfill will operate on its regular hours on Tuesday. However, the Starwood Court Collection Facility will not be open.
