A new Mexican restaurant is set to open in Bluffton, taking over the location formerly occupied by Kenny B’s French Quarter Café. Alchile Mexican Grill, a family-owned establishment based in Ridgeland, plans to launch its second location in April 2026.
Transition from Kenny B’s to Alchile Mexican Grill
Kenny B’s French Quarter Café, known for its vibrant New Orleans-style cooking, closed permanently at 1534 Fording Island Road. The restaurant operated in Bluffton for nearly three decades, having started its journey in January 1999 at 70 Pope Avenue before moving to the Bridge Center.

Founded in November 2020, Alchile Mexican Grill offers authentic Mexican cuisine with influences from Texas and California. The menu includes a variety of options such as:
