The Story of PRAGMATA
Set in the near future, PRAGMATA introduces a world where a groundbreaking material called Lunafilament has been developed. This material can be used to create various items, given users possess the correct data. Communication with the lunar station researching Lunafilament abruptly ceases, prompting a response team to investigate. Unfortunately, they are soon met with a disastrous lunar quake.
One of the team members, Hugh Williams, faces dire circumstances when he is separated from his group. He ends up unconscious and injured. During his recovery, he encounters Diana, a mysterious android known as a Pragmata, crafted from Lunafilament.
Gameplay Mechanics
Players control both Hugh and Diana as they fight to survive in the treacherous lunar facility. Diana possesses hacking abilities that can expose enemy weaknesses, enabling Hugh to effectively utilize a variety of firearms. This combination of hacking and shooting creates a dynamic gameplay experience where strategic thinking is vital.
Teamwork is essential not only in combat but also while navigating the lunar research station. Hugh has thrusters in his suit to traverse the facility swiftly, while Diana can hack security systems to unlock doors and create paths. Players must remain vigilant, as enemy bots lie in wait, turning the supposedly deserted station into a zone of unpredictability.
PRAGMATA promises to blend immersive storylines with captivating gaming mechanics, making it one of the anticipated titles for 2026 on the Switch 2.
