HBO Max has officially announced the launch date for its standalone streaming service in the U.K. and Ireland. The service will be available starting from March 26, 2024.

HBO Max will offer four subscription tiers tailored to different viewing preferences:
- Ad-based subscriptions priced at £4.99 and £5.99 per month.
- Ad-free plans at £9.99 and £14.99 per month, with the higher tier including 4K Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos.
Additionally, TNT Sports content will be available as a standalone service or as an add-on for £30.99 per month.
Content Availability
The platform will feature a broad array of content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, and DC Studios. Featured series include:
- The complete first season of “The Pitt,” starring Noah Wyle.
- All episodes of “Euphoria” and “House of the Dragon.”
- The highly anticipated DC series “Lanterns.”
Classic favorites like “Friends,” “Succession,” “The Sopranos,” and “Game of Thrones” will also be included in the library.

Viewers can look forward to more content in the near future:
- Season 3 of “Euphoria”
- Season 2 of “The Pitt”
- The debut of the “Harry Potter” series in 2027.
However, newer films such as “Sinners” and “Superman” won’t be accessible with the basic subscription tier.

On the day of launch, TNT Sports will transition from the Discovery+ app to HBO Max. Subscribers will gain access to various sports, including:
