Benburb Farm Open Day Raises £86,000 for Air Ambulance Charity

The recent RedHouse Holstein Open Day held at the Irwin farm in Benburb was a resounding success, raising an impressive £86,000 for the Air Ambulance Charity. This event, organized in conjunction with World Wide Sires, attracted over 3,000 attendees and showcased innovation in livestock breeding.

Damien McAnespie, the Fundraising Manager for Air Ambulance NI, expressed gratitude towards the Irwin family and all those involved. “The overwhelming support we received is pivotal for sustaining our operations,” he remarked.

The funds raised will significantly enhance the operational capacity of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. It is estimated that these contributions will enable the service to function for nearly eleven days, potentially saving the lives of twenty-two individuals in the area.
