In a significant operation, local police in Quang Ngai province conducted a raid targeting a drug hideout in My Tan village, Binh Son district. This coordinated effort involved over 50 officials from the Drug Crimes Investigation Unit, along with the Mobile Police Unit and local law enforcement agencies.

The raid revealed that a 47-year-old man, identified as a gang leader, was operating an illegal drug use area. This individual, who has three prior convictions, is considered a violent and dangerous criminal. Authorities reported that he was prepared to resist arrest.

- The hideout spanned over 1,000 square meters.
- Structures such as shanties and dugouts were built for drug use.
- Shipping containers were used as storage facilities.
- The area was fortified to restrict external access.
- Lookouts and guards were placed to alert of any foreign presence.
Remarkably, the gang leader not only organized gatherings for drug use but also consumed drugs to maintain control over his followers. He provided addicts with food, shelter, and free access to drugs, demanding obedience in return.
