Pusha T Condemns ICE at Billboard Power 100 Red Carpet

Pusha T made headlines on January 28, 2026, with a bold statement against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while attending the Billboard Power 100 event in Los Angeles. The rapper simply stated, “f—k ICE,” emphasizing his disapproval of the agency’s actions.

Pusha T Joins Growing Movement Against ICE

Pusha T is not alone in his condemnation of ICE. Other artists, including Tyler, The Creator and Olivia Rodrigo, have voiced their concerns as well. Tyler recently shared a post on Instagram depicting a scene from “Paid in Full,” reiterating the message “f—k ICE” and criticizing Donald Trump for his role in the situation.

  • Olivia Rodrigo labeled ICE’s actions as “unconscionable,” encouraging her followers by stating, “Our actions matter.”

Recent Events Heighten Tensions

Pusha’s comments arrive amid heightened tensions following the tragic shootings involving ICE agents. In late January, two U.S. citizens, Renee Good and Alex Pretti, were shot during a protest in Minneapolis. Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse, was killed on January 24 while allegedly trying to protect a woman from an ICE agent.

While the Trump administration claimed that the officer acted in self-defense, witnesses and videos challenge this narrative, as Pretti reportedly did not appear to pose a threat. His family noted he had a permit to carry a firearm in Minnesota, raising questions about the actions taken by ICE agents.

Acknowledging Achievements at Billboard Power 100

During the Billboard Power 100 event, Pusha T also recognized Alex DePersia from By the Way with the Breakthrough Executive award. He remarked on their collaboration, noting it as a significant moment in their careers.

Other honorees included Jody Gerson from UMPG, who received the Executive of the Decade award, and Sharon Osbourne, awarded the Clive Davis Visionary award. PlaqueBoyMax was recognized with the Disruptor award.

Upcoming Grammy Nominations

The weekend was set to be historic for the Clipse, as Pusha T and Malice were nominated for five Grammy awards. Their comeback album, “Let God Sort Em Out,” received critical acclaim, highlighting their successful return to the music scene.

Pusha T’s remarks on the red carpet and his speech during the ceremony showcased his commitment to both social issues and the evolution of his music career.
