Police Arrest Children in Exeter Following Incident

Three teenage boys were arrested following a reported burglary in Exeter. The incident occurred on the night of January 25, 2026, around 10:40 PM.

The Devon and Cornwall Police responded to a call from Cowick Street, St Thomas. Eyewitnesses reported that a group of boys left a store without paying for their items. Alarmingly, a store employee indicated that they were threatened during the incident.
Police Response
In response to the situation, police officers conducted a thorough search of the area, supported by a National Police Air Service helicopter.
Arrests Made
- Two boys aged 13 and 16 were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
- A third boy, age 14, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Ongoing Investigations
