Weather Conditions and Safety Precautions
Many eastern regions will experience dry weather, while coastal areas may see higher waves. It is crucial to remain vigilant against the risk of wildfires and various other fire hazards.
On the air quality front, particulate matter levels are predicted to remain at a ‘normal’ level overall. However, regions such as the metropolitan area and Chungcheong Province could experience spikes in pollution on Tuesday.
Cold wave advisories are currently in effect for areas including the metropolitan region, Gangwon inland, and parts of North Gyeongsang Province. Wind chill factors may further reduce perceived temperatures.
Impact on Commuting
As precipitation is expected in Jeonnam and Jeju later in the afternoon, areas along the western coast of Chungnam may also see snow overnight. Commuters should exercise caution due to potential icy roads and slippery conditions.
