Olympic Flame’s 49th Stage: Journey from Pordenone to Belluno

The Olympic Flame’s 49th stage of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games will kick off on January 25th. This significant event will take place across the picturesque regions of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto. The journey holds historical and scenic importance, drawing attention to Italy’s beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

The relay will commence at 9:20 AM in Pordenone, featuring 28 torchbearers. The first stop will be Conegliano, where the Flame is expected to arrive by 11:45 AM. Conegliano serves as a gateway to the Prosecco Hills, which were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. This region is known for its stunning terraced vineyards, rural countryside, and charming villages.

After the torch’s arrival in Belluno, there will be a communal celebration in Piazza dei Martiri. This moment will include 14 individual torchbearers and 20 in groups, inviting the community to join in the festivities.
