London Nursery Worker Faces 15 New Child Sexual Abuse Charges

A nursery worker in London is facing additional legal troubles following a conviction for multiple child sexual abuse offences. Vincent Chan, a 45-year-old from Finchley, has been charged with 15 new offences related to child sexual abuse.

Chan previously admitted to 26 offences between 2022 and 2024. His crimes were committed at a nursery in West Hampstead, operated by Bright Horizons, where he sexually assaulted four girls aged two to four years old. His record also includes the possession of over 25,000 indecent images of children.

The new charges were filed against Chan before the existing convictions. These pertain to:

  • Nine counts of taking indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children, including severe cases.
  • Six counts of acts of outraging public decency.
