NASA to Broadcast Live Coverage of Crew-11 Splashdown Return

NASA has announced the details for the upcoming Crew-11 mission return. The planned undocking from the International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled for no earlier than 5:20 p.m. EST on Wednesday, January 14, 2023. This timeline is conditional upon favorable weather conditions.

The Crew-11 team includes NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov. They are expected to splash down off the California coast at 3:41 a.m. EST on January 15, 2023. The decision to return early was made to monitor a medical concern involving one crew member, who is currently stable.
