Hull City’s Cody Drameh is rethinking his future with the club, according to head coach Sergej Jakirovic. This decision comes as a significant relief for the team’s ambitions in the Championship.

Recently, Drameh appeared to be on his way out of the MKM Stadium, especially as the winter transfer window approached. Initially, Jakirovic suggested that the young defender was eager to seek opportunities elsewhere. This was primarily due to his struggle for regular minutes, having fallen behind teammate Lewie Coyle in the lineup.

However, positive discussions between Drameh and Jakirovic seem to have influenced his decision. The 23-year-old has indicated a desire to remain with the Tigers, at least for the immediate future.

However, he participated in 111 minutes during the recent FA Cup shootout victory over Blackburn Rovers. Although he experienced cramping, he is expected to be fit for the upcoming match against Southampton.
