The actors playfully reflected on the food culture during the show’s production. “It always starts off, like, healthy, and people try,” Wolfhard noted. However, as filming progressed, snacks often became more indulgent. “By month six, it’s like, ‘Here’s your Danimal,’” he joked, indicating a relaxed approach to nutrition over time.

Wolfhard recounted a humorous incident from when he was just 13 years old. He had decided to give up sugar for Lent, which starts on Ash Wednesday and lasts for 40 days. When he informed a crew member about his commitment, the response was candid: “Bull—-.” Ironically, just 30 minutes later, he found himself munching on sour Skittles.
