A 12-year-old boy from London, Ontario, is facing serious arson charges following a recent residential fire incident. The fire occurred on a Sunday evening in the east end of the city.

On Sunday, at approximately 9:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to a fire in the 0-100 block of Clarke Road. Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene and managed to extinguish the fire.
All individuals inside the residential building were safely evacuated, and fortunately, there were no reported injuries. During the investigation, authorities identified a male suspect connected to the incident.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
Following an investigation by the London police’s patrol operations investigative section, the 12-year-old boy was charged with one count of arson with disregard for human life. Due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, his identity cannot be disclosed.
