Officer Injured in Maryland Crash; Two Drivers Arrested

The officer was investigating a disabled vehicle near the 410 ramp around 3:20 a.m. At that time, while standing next to a patrol cruiser, the officer was struck by another vehicle.
Injuries and Medical Response
Following the crash, the officer was airlifted to a hospital via a U.S. Park Police helicopter. Fortunately, authorities reported that the officer is expected to survive and may be released later that same day.
