Broncos Reveal New Depth Chart for Upcoming Packers Match

The Denver Broncos have announced their latest depth chart as they prepare for their Week 15 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. This update does not feature significant changes, but it includes some key roster moves that could impact their performance.

Roster Changes Ahead of Packers Match

Recent adjustments involved the promotion of tight end Marcedes Lewis from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. To accommodate his inclusion, the team waived linebacker Garret Wallow.

Lewis is now positioned as TE4 on the depth chart. It is essential to note that the Broncos maintain that this is an unofficial chart, indicating potential changes could occur leading into the game.

Quarterbacks and Running Backs

  • Quarterbacks: The Broncos currently have two quarterbacks on the active roster, with Sam Ehlinger listed on the practice squad.
  • Running backs: The team includes three running backs, with Deuce Vaughn and Sincere McCormick available from the practice squad.

Tight Ends and Receivers

  • Tight Ends/Fullbacks: Marcedes Lewis, having moved up from the practice squad, in addition to other tight ends.
  • Wide Receivers: Five players are listed, including new addition Lil’Jordan Humphrey, who replaced Trent Sherfield last month.

Palczewski serves as a backup right guard even while starting at left guard. In the event of an injury, Throckmorton is likely the preferred backup for both guard positions.

Defensive Line and Linebackers

  • Defensive Line: Featuring seven players, key defensive ends include Zach Allen and Jordan Jackson, while D.J. Jones and Malcolm Roach play at defensive tackle.
  • Outside Linebackers: A strong trio, consisting of Elliss, Tillman, and Robinson, supports starters Cooper and Bonitto.
  • Inside Linebackers: Justin Strnad has filled in throughout the season, mainly backing up Dre Greenlaw and Alex Singleton.

Secondary and Special Teams

  • Cornerbacks: Five cornerbacks, including Patrick Surtain, who recently returned from a pectoral injury.
  • Safeties: Key players in this position have focused on special teams duties.
  • Special Teams: Kicker Wil Lutz, punter Jeremy Crawshaw, and long snapper Mitchell Fraboni form the core, with Marvin Mims returning kicks.

As the team heads into this important contest, Mims has achieved a notable milestone by accumulating 1,260 all-purpose yards, marking a personal best.
