Round Six of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) delivered thrilling performances, setting a vibrant tone for the remaining events. The action-packed night showcased remarkable talent and historical milestones.
Historic Performance by Tomlinson and Graves
In a stunning display, team ropers Tanner Tomlinson and Travis Graves achieved a new Round Six record with an impressive 3.4-second run. This performance was just one-tenth of a second shy of the arena record. Both athletes have accumulated $92,798.60 each at the Thomas & Mack Center. Their fast time bolstered Tomlinson’s lead for the heading world title, while Graves moved closer to the top in the heeling standings.
Current Standings in Team Roping
Leading the heeling standings is Jade Corkill, who, along with partner Clint Summers, remains the only team to rope all six steers thus far. This accomplishment gives them a significant advantage in the average race.

- Kade Sonnier: The Cajun bareback rider earned his first go-round buckle with 88.0 points on Land of Fancy, securing a payday of $36,668.
- Ty Erickson: He won the steer wrestling title with a sharp 3.5-second run, positioning himself closely behind leader Will Lummus, who is $44,602 ahead.
- Texas Roper Joel Harris: Harris took the Round Six buckle with a time of 6.8 seconds, elevating him to fourth in the world standings with total earnings of $251,396.
- Kassie Mowry: The reigning barrel racing champion recorded a standout performance in 13.42 seconds aboard Cornbread, further extending her lead in the world standings by $24,000.
- Stetson Wright: Continuing his strong NFR run, Wright won the bull riding title with an 88.5-point ride, increasing his NFR earnings to $267,212.
