Deported Duo from Accomack County Ranks High on DHS ‘Worst of Worst’ List

Two individuals from Accomack County, Virginia, have been highlighted in a new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiative. This program identifies individuals deported for violent crimes, and both cases have been tagged as “Worst of the Worst.”

Details on the Deportees

The DHS’s searchable database, known as “Worst of the Worst,” contains information on illegal aliens arrested for violent offenses. This database is a recent effort to track criminal illegal aliens since the commencement of the Trump Administration.

Criminal Histories

Included in this database are serious charges involving:

  • Homicide
  • Assault
  • Rape
  • Drug trafficking
  • Child molestation
  • Cruelty toward a child
  • Battery
  • Armed robbery

The two individuals deported from Accomack County include:

  • Yvrose Compere: A Haitian national convicted of aggravated assault with a weapon involving a family member.
  • Brayan Velasquez Velasquez: A Guatemalan national found guilty of assault and aggravated assault against a police officer.

Current Status of Deportees

Both Compere and Velasquez have been deported back to their respective countries. Currently, no individuals from Northampton County appear in the DHS database.

ICE Operations

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) routinely conducts operations in both Accomack and Northampton Counties. After an illegal alien is arrested and convicted, ICE has a limited timeframe to take custody and initiate the deportation process.

The DHS database focuses solely on individuals convicted of violent crimes, making it a vital tool in tracking and managing deportations of dangerous offenders.
